Commitment to Green Cleaning & Sustainability

Planned realizes the importance of “going green” and has implemented green cleaning systems, in addition to establishing a knowledgeable team of LEED (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design) Accredited Professionals.

Planned Building Services uses GS-37 (Green Seal) cleaning solutions which are Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) approved cleaning alternatives.  These products have stronger health and environmental protection benefits, including a prohibition of ingredients know to cause allergic type asthma, tighter restrictions on the chemicals that can cause indoor air pollution and strengthen limits on toxins that can be absorbed through the skin. In addition to using Green Seal products, all Planned Building associates undergo extensive training on green cleaning techniques and how to effectively use GS-37 products.

Furthering the commitment to “green” and sustainability, Planned has obtained accreditation and project certification in The Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED) Green Building Rating System sponsored by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC). This system encourages the adoption of sustainable green building and development practices, indicating a thorough understanding of green principles.

Planned Companies is proud to have numerous LEED Accredited Professionals on staff, including CEO Robert Francis, and Executive VP Astrit Gorana. This enables Planned to implement and consult on green building practices and LEED certification projects.
