How to get Outta There! They say to always know where building exits are. Well, they’re still right! It’s crucial to educate yourself on where all the exits are in any given room or shopping center. Look for brightly lit exits signs near the corners of the room. In case of an emergency, stay calm and move toward the exit doors in an orderly fashion. Safe Parking When it comes to parking at malls and other shopping locations, always stick to the parking space they have provided. The last situation you want to be in is trying to walk back to your car in an unsafe territory while carrying gifts and items. This can set you up for burglary disaster. Look for parking areas that are properly lit, whether you’re near a street lamp and close to the shopping center itself. Make sure you’re taking necessary precaution around this busy holiday season. Whether you’re out shopping for holiday gifts or traveling to visit family, safety awareness should always be at the forefront of your mind. Have a safe and joyous Thanksgiving holiday and weekend!
